Last week, Xiaomi launched their all new Redmi Note 8 Series in the UAE. The series consists of 4 devices with the Note 8 Pro leading the pack. Here’s everything you need to know about the devices.

Redmi Note 8 Pro

The highlight of the launch was Redmi Note 8 Pro which comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 mobile platform, a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T gaming processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Redmi Note 8 Pro is also packed with the brand’s first-ever 64MP quad camera making it an ideal companion for photographers, gamers and anyone seeking an accessible flagship-quality experience. Loaded with a 4500mAh battery and liquid cooling, the Note 8 Pro is not just ready for your day but also for any intensive gaming you might throw its way.

Redmi Note 8 Pro will retail at Dh949 for 6GB+64GB, Dh1049 for 8GB+128GB.

Also introduced at the launch was Redmi Note 8, a photography powerhouse with a quad-camera setup, 6.39-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Redmi Note 8 packs the power of  octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor 4GB of RAM and comes with Android 9 Pie and 4000mAh non-removable battery supporting Xiaomi’s proprietary fast charging.

The Redmi Note 8 will be available in 4GB + 64GB for Dh729, and 4GB + 128GB for Dh829.

Redmi 8 comes wrapped in glass-like material providing a premium hands-on feel with a polished and glossy surface, powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 439 and 4GB of RAM. Redmi 8A comes in a fine, textured matt finish with excellent grip and at the same time, reducing fingerprint residues to a minimum. It packs Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 439 and 3GB of RAM. Both, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A come with 6.22-inch HD+ IPS Dot Notch display that supports a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, dual-SIM (Nano), running Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top

The Redmi Note 8 series phones are available in a variety of colours. Redmi Note 8 Pro comes in Mineral Gray, Pearl White and Forest Green color while The Redmi Note 8 comes in Space Black, Neptune Blue, and Moonlight White. Whereas the Redmi 8 comes color variants of Onxy Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red and Redmi 8A is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red.

The Redmi 8 3GB+32GB will retail at Dh499 and 4GB+64GB will be priced at Dh589. The Redmi 8A will be available for Dh399
