LG’s new gram series offers four models in the gram 17, gram 15, gram 14 and the gram 2-in-1. It is designed to set a new standard for portable computing to satisfy the needs of the most demanding users.
Processing power and internals
At the heart of the new series are Intel’s 10th generation processors with Iris Plus graphics and up to 24GB of DDR4 memory. This is double the graphics processing power of last year’s models, which is suited for both content creators wanting to edit 4K video and playing games.
Connectivity wise, all LG gram variants come with Wi-Fi 6 for better efficiency, connectivity and lower battery consumption. Speaking of battery, both the gram 17 and 15 come with a larger 80Wh battery providing hours of use away from an outlet.
The flagship LG gram 17 is the solution for anyone looking for maximum productivity and portability. Its 17-inch WQXGA IPS display delivers detailed images with precise colours. Due to its 16:10 aspect ratio, you also get more room to work when editing videos, photos and documents.
Both the LG gram 15 and 14 bring a minimalist design with a seamless and premium look. The svelte laptops are industry benchmarks in their ability to fit a 15-inch display in a 14-inch body and a 14-inch screen on a 13.3-inch chassis respectively.
LG’s gram 2-in-1 also returns this year with greater function and the extra ThunderboltTM 3 port. It delivers more than 20 hours of work-time in a package that tips the scale only at 1,145 grams.
Visitors at LG’s CES 2020 booth in Las Vegas will be able to experience its new gram series between January 7-10. There is no word on local pricing and availability yet.
