Samsung Note 6 to be powered by the SOC 823C?

Latest rumours from China suggest that the not-so-quickly upcoming Samsung Note 6 will feature a 64-bit Kryo 2.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.

The rumour also mentions an unknown Xperia device and the LG G Flex 3. Other leaked specs for the device include a 25MP camera (mentioned above), a 5.8-inch QHD display and IP68 certification making the device water and dust-proof. Incorporation of the certification has been seen in the S7 and S7 Edge but how it will be done with an S Pen in the equation is yet to be seen. The only rumour that seems unlikely to me is the 5.8-inch screen. Even though I would love to see the Note 6 being an actual phablet, the industry hasn’t crossed the 5.5-inch barrier in most releases this year.

There’s still a whole journey of rumours and leaks to go through before we reach the Note 6 launch. Keep an eye on this space for further updates as we get them.
