Samsung Gulf recently launched the Galaxy J8 in the UAE. The latest entry in the J-series line-up boasts Samsungs signature Infinity Display, a brighter screen, improved picture taking capabilities and facial recognition.
What’s new in the Galaxy J8?
First things first, we look at its Infinity Display, which offers 15 per cent more screen encased in a sleek and ergonomic unibody design. The screen measures six inches and is an HD+ super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 ratio.
The rear camera has been revamped to include a dual lens setup. The primary camera has 16MP and f/1.7 aperture, while the secondary rear camera has 5MP and f/1.9 aperture. It features the Live Focus mode, which allows users to capture stunning portrait shots every time thanks to added background blurs.
Thanks to the 16MP front camera, with an adjustable selfie flash, the Galaxy J8 performs admirably in low light conditions and assists in facial recognition and device unlocking.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy J8 comes with an octa-core processor and advanced memory management. It is powered by a 3,500mAh battery and comes with Android Oreo out of the box.
