Unveiled at its virtual Unpacked 2020, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are versatile tablets. They bring a lot to the table, effectively combining the power of a PC, the flexibility of a tablet and the connectivity of a smartphone.

Multimedia centric

With the Galaxy Tab S7+, you get an extra large 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display. On the other had, the Galaxy Tab S7 sports an 11-inch TFT panel. Both tablets support a 120Hz refresh rate and an AKG quad-speaker array with Dolby Atmos support for multimedia consumption. The upgraded S-Pen with capabilities similar to that on the Galaxy Note20 series also makes it to the Tab S7 series.

Always stay connected

Inside, both tablets come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. With it, Samsung’s legacy of Galaxy 5G devices grows with the Tab S7 and S7+ being the first tablets to support 5G from the company. With this processing power, you will be able to benefit from fast downloads, seamless video calls via the 8MP front camera and virtually a lag-free streaming experience. More so, both the Tab S7 and S7+ offer features to work across multiple devices. When there is no WiFi connectivity available, you can use Auto Hotspot to automatically tether other Galaxy devices to your 5G-enabled tablet. Samsung’s Second screen feature allows you to either duplicate or extend your display whereas Nearby Share lets you transmit files to nearby contacts with ease.

Truly take advantage of the large display experience on the Galaxy Tab S7 with the new S-Pen

To combine with the Tab S7 series’ power, you also find up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for your data. Of course, the latter can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD. For basic camera needs, Samsung has also thrown in a primary dual 13MP wide and 5MP ultra-wide setup with flash. While most of the features between the Tab S7 and S7+ remain similar, a key difference is battery capacity. On the Tab S7, you find an 8,000mAh cell whereas the Tab S7+ comes with a larger 10,090mAh cell. Both tablets though support 45W Super Fast Charging.

Accessory support

To go alongside the S-Pen, the Galaxy Tab S7 supports Samsung Notes. But for more options, you can also opt for its Book Cover Keyboard and Bluetooth mouse if you want the complete computing experience.
