“Imagine if Spiderman had OCD,” is probably what LG were thinking about when they planned this stunt.
Just over a month ago, they nabbed a Guinness record, together with Bryan Berg, for building a 3.3-meter tall, 48-story house of cards on top of a running LG Centum washing machine while it was spinning at 1,000 RPM. Check it out here.
This time they strapped two LG CordZeros to professional rock climber Sierra Blair-Coyle’s back!
…and she scaled the side of a 140-meter high-rise building.
Needless to say, the CordZero canister vacuum cleaner is incredibly powerful. The performance that technology together with Blair-Coyle’s skills created a unique climbing device using suction pads and the lightweight and long-lasting lithium-ion battery-equipped appliance.
A statement by LG reads:
Lugging two canister vacuums up a 33-story office tower, the premium cordless vacuum cleaners created enough suction to support Blair-Coyle’s weight while she carefully climbed toward the roof. Blair-Coyle completed the climb in less than 30 minutes, stopping only once for a fresh pair of vacuums, successfully pulling off the first stunt of its kind.
Now, how was this possible? The CordZero uses LG’s Smart Inverter Motor, which offers the most powerful performance in the cordless vacuum category, packing in power in an incredibly small size.
The motor is on average 28 percent smaller, 24 percent lighter and 13 percent more efficient than conventional vacuum motors. It is powered by a PowerPack 80V lithium-ion battery that offers 40 minutes of power in regular mode after only a four-hour charge.
“We hoped to draw attention to the innovative technologies that power the appliances we so often take for granted and this project succeeded in doing just that. We wanted to demonstrate that today’s vacuum cleaners include sophisticated technologies that can undertake extraordinary challenges and thanks to Sierra, I think the message came through loud and clear.”

If, by any chance, you do have two LG CordZero canister vacuum cleaners lying around, don’t even think about it.
