Razer releases Turret, a lap-friendly combo

Remember using a plank or any sort of flat surface in the house to use your keyboard and mouse? Well Razer solves that issue for you with Turret. Announced mid-2015, this mouse-and-keyboard lap-friendly combo has finally launched.

The device combo will cost $160 (Dh588). The wireless Turret uses Bluetooth as well as proprietary connections. As it was mentioned before, the Turret is designed for your lap. The keyboard has an extended lap-board that provides a surface for the high-precision 3500DPI mouse.

Ideally, this set-up is for gamers using their PC connected to a TV, but the Turret also has dedicated Android keys in the scenario you’ve got a Google-powered set-top box such as Razer’s Forge TV.

This certainly isn’t the first of its kind, but is definitely one of the best if you’re looking at playing a first-person shooter with a couch lazing combo.

We’re yet to receive confirmation that the product is definitely coming to the UAE, along with the local price and availability. Do keep an eye on this space as we’ll have an update for you as soon as we hear more.
