Friends, gamers and laymen, the PlayStation VR is here.
Ever since we heard the announcement earlier this year, all we could do was wait with bated breath and watch for every little detail about the PSVR. We got a little taste of the PSVR earlier this year at the Middle East Film and Comic Con, where we got to try out RIGS and London Heist. Both offered an exciting taste of what is to come.
Well, the wait is over. Sony PlayStation Middle East announced the launch and price of the PSVR earlier today in the UAE.

The PSVR is retailing at Dh1,599 for the headset. Those who need the PS4 camera as well will need to shell out Dh1,849 to get the full kit.
Just to recap, anyone interested in getting their hands on this virtual reality gaming headset must already have a PlayStation 4 and PS4 camera. Motion controllers are optional.
The headset has a 5.7-inch OLED screen with 1,920 x 1,080p RGB resolution. This gives viewers a field of view of about 100 degrees.
The PSVR is available at major retailers in the UAE starting today. Those who pre-ordered the device should already be immersed and oblivious to the world around.
