Oppo officially announced the new R9s and R9s Plus last week in China, but an announcement on availability in the UAE has yet to be made. As you can guess, the devices are follow-ups to the R9 and R9 Plus.
The Oppo R9s Plus will come with a 6″ Full HD touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage. The memory can be expanded and the battery is a notable 4000mAh. The device looks relatively hold-able thanks to a 79 per cent to-body ratio and tiny 1.78mm bezels.
The Oppo R9s on the other hand comes with a 5.5″ Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It also included a fingerprint scanner and a 3010mAh battery.
Both devices will now come with 16MP cameras on the back and the front. Both cameras will have a f1.7 aperture, OIS, EIS, LED flash and 4K video capture at 30fps. Both phones will also run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow loaded with Oppo’s own Color OS 3.0.
Oppo’s absolutely fantatstic VOOC fast charging will also be available on both devices. Amazingly, the VOOC charging is capable of delivering two hours of battery life in just 5 minutes charging time.
The devices will be available in Rose Gold, Gold, and Black. A white model has already been reported, but we’re waiting for official word from Oppo.
