120Hz QHD+ display with O1 Ultra Vision Engine
With both the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, you get Oppo’s 120Hz QHD+ Ultra Vision screen. This comes with a 3,168 x 1,440 resolution and can display more than one billion variations of colour. Usability in any environment is also not a problem with it coming with a maximum screen brightness of 1,200 nits.
The O1 Ultra Vision Engine brings Motion Clear and HDR video enhancement to multimedia. This makes your content pop and look smoother to support the 120Hz refresh rate of the display. In conjunction, the phone’s high-power dual speakers come with Dolby Atmos. With these, you can immerse yourself in music, movies and games.
Sophisticated design and ColorOS 7.1
Featuring a double-curve body design, you find Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the glass panel. The phone is round and smooth to touch with the Find X2 Pro also coming with IP68 water and dust protection. For a more premium finish, the X2 series is also available in ceramic and vegan leather. For software, you find Oppo’s ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. This has a lightweight visual approach with more intuitive animations. It also features a specially adapted Dark Mode to the top 200 popular third-party applications, which improves both the reading experience and battery performance on the phone.
Professional Ultra Vision Camera System
Equipped with a triple-camera combination, you find a 48MP Sony IMX689 wide-angle lens, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 13MP telephoto lens which supports 10x hybrid zoom. In addition to this, the Find X2 Pro is the first smartphone to support All Pixel Omni-directional PDAF. With regards to the phone’s zoom, it comes equipped with a second-generation 10x hybrid zoom. Its new hardware and software ensures consistency in colour and white balance when switching between the three cameras. Furthermore, the Ultra Night Mode can cover all focal lengths with a maximum zoom of 60x.
On the video front, the Find X2 Pro supports both Ultra Steady Video Pro and Ultra Steady Video. This uses a new upgraded image stabilisation algorithm and is based on the 48MP and 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens. Otherwise, you find support for 4K 60fps footage with Live HDR video recording.
Powerful inside and out
The Find X2 series is one of the first smartphones to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor. This ensures seamless performance but also enables SA/NSA dual-mode 5G. This is feature helped with Oppo’s Smart 5G technology which supports 5G and 4G dual-receiver, dual-card and dual-standby for a more stable network.
To keep you going through the day, the Find X2 and X2 Pro come with a 4,200mAh and 4,260mAh battery respectively. They come with industry-leading 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charge, which can fully charge the Find X2 Pro in just 38 minutes.
Pricing and availability
The Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will retail for €999 (Dh4,141.39) and €1,199 (Dh4,970.49) respectively, with the series expected to hit stores soon. We are unsure on local availability and pricing but we will keep you updated as we learn more.
