Serving as a refresh to its current 1-series and 5-series, the Nokia 1.3 and 5.3 see improvements on all fronts.
On the Nokia 1.3, you find a 5.71-inch HD+ 19:9 display and an experience powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 215 quad-core processor. On the software side of things, the phone comes with Android 10 (Go Edition) complete with Google Camera Go on its 8MP primary unit.
Otherwise, you find 16GB of storage expandable via micro-SD alongside 1GB of RAM. The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh cell which supports 5W charging times.
This is a higher-end smartphone, sporting a large 6.55-inch HD+ panel and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 655 octa-core chip. Furthermore, you get an innovative AI quad-camera setup with a 13MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. This enables users to shoot in low light and capture images using Portrait mode with enhanced bokeh effects.
In true Nokia style, the phone comes with a Nordic inspired design with elelgant 2.5D glass and a scratch-resistant composite back. Other hardware includes 4,000mAh battery which delivers Nokia’s signature two days battery life alongside 10W charging technology.
Pricing and availability
Both the Nokia 1.3 and 5.3 will be available in April. The 1.3 is priced at €95 (Dh375.64) and will come in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colour variants. The 5.3 will share these colour finishes and will retail for €195 (Dh747.32) in a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM configuration.
