UAE’s own TaskSpotting takes crowdsourcing to the next level

Smartphone app TaskSpotting, known to users across the Middle East as the app that pays, has evolved and is set to reward more consumers than ever, providing brands with instant feedback and digital word of mouth.

Initial period

When TaskSpotting launched last year, app users could sign up to an insight mission such as a mystery shopping experience or at-home survey and be paid for their feedback. Now, taking the interactive assignments to the next level, consumers will be able to receive full-size samples of their favourite products from big-name brands, free of charge, directly to their doors. All they need to do is try the products, then share their honest feedback via the TaskSpotting app.

Apart from receiving complimentary products, app users are rewarded with points, which are converted into raffle entries every month for a chance to win exciting prizes.

Get involved

Those keen to get involved in TaskSpotting need to follow four steps:

  1. Download the TaskSpotting app via iTunes or Google Play
  2. Create a profile to be matched with brand experiences
  3. Receive free products delivered to the door to try
  4. Give feedback, post reviews, images and videos on social media all via the TaskSpotting app

TaskSpotting and partners

TaskSpotting has partnered with some of the world’s well-known brands including Unilever, IKEA and Audi. Two TaskSpotting brand experiences are currently live – one for Syoss Hair Care and one for Barilla Pasta. About 2,500 consumers across the UAE have received a hamper of Barilla Pasta products, containing two large boxes of pasta, two bottles of gourmet sauce and a recipe book.  And more than 2,000 women will soon receive complimentary haircare kits from Syoss.
