Oppo has announced plans to introduce a new product series called the F Series that will make photography its central focus.
Sky Li, Oppo Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business, says the F series will inherit the excellent camera performance and exquisite design tradition. The series will bring devices with impressive specs, eye-catching style and amazing prices that will have consumers doing double takes on the excellent specs and build quality. “We are very excited to introduce the F series, which will allow an even wider range of users from all around the world to experience Oppo’s outstanding photography technology,” said Li.
The first product of the new F series is called the F1. There is no news on specifications yet but it is set to launch in a wide range of markets this January. It will be available in the UAE in the first week of March.
Rumour has it that the F1 is an international variant of the A53 released in China in November. So presumably, the F1 would have a 5.5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 616, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, dual SIM slots, a non-removable 3075mAh battery, a 13MP back shooter, and a 5MP front camera.
