In mid-May of 2015, MediaTek announced the Helio X20 chip and said samples would be available for manufacturers by the end of 2015.
After being disappointed when it wasn’t seen in the Elephone P9000, which downgraded to the Helio P10 Octa-core CPU, hopes rise today as reports suggest that the Meizu MX6 will be the bearer of good news.
Reports from the AnTuTu database say the Meizu MX6 was tested with the same and its specs probably got saved.
Meizu’s latest flagship, the MX6, as shown by AnTuTu, will pack a 1080p display and run on the MT Helio X20 chip with a 10-core 3-cluster processor (2x Cortex-A72 at 2.5GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 2.0GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.4GHz), Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. Other specs include 32GB storage and Android 6.0 Marshmallow base for the Flyme launcher.
There’s still no official confirmation but considering that in June last year the MX5 was the first to launch the Helio X10 chip, it’s possible this might be true.
