Three days ago, the world’s thinnest high-definition speaker for the iPad, completed its stint on Indiegogo, having achieved 102% of the funding it required.
Ampple (I think they were going for ‘Amplifier meets Apple’ ??) looks like a normal case, but hidden beneath is two ‘crazy’ speakers. The case is designed to guide sound to the front of the device and reportedly delivers HD stereo sound that three times louder than the iPad.
Check it out below.
The Ampple (still not a fan of the name TBH) is compatible with the iPad 2, 3 & 4, iPad Air and iPad Air 2, iPad Mini and iPad Mini 2, 3, 4, and the iPad 9.7-inch Pro.
The exact stats of its battery life isn’t available just yet, but the manufacturers claim that it can last up to 10 hours. It is charged separately, and no, it can’t charge you iPad.
If you’re wondering if there’s a similar option for you iPhones, there isn’t right now. But again, the manufacturers claim that they are working on it.
Check it out on their Indiegogo page right here.
One of its current perks’ going for $129 with an estimated delivery date in February 2017.
