HTC sent out a teaser last month (above), with a nod to their next flagship device the 10 (or M10, or One M10, or One 10?).
While the world waits for the next HTC flagship, HTC MEA have sent out invites to regional media.
A very simple graphic with a one-liner and a date.
Well HTC, we’re obsessed too, and very, very curious.
Invites to the similar dual-events in London and New York go on to state that the brand is “introducing the newest HTC smartphone”
What we know so far, based on several rumours that seem to overlap, is that the device will be a top-of-the-range smartphone and could possibly rock a 5.2-inch display. So it could play somewhere in the Dh2,000 – Dh2,500 price range.
It is said to pack a 3,000mAh battery, run a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and Android Marshmallow out of the box.
Other possible features could include a finger-print sensor in the home button, the removal of the front-facing dual speakers and a USB type-C port.
Courtesy TechRadar: The Chief Financial Officer Chialin Chang said, “We can confidently say that HTC will have a very, very compelling camera experience. We’re making this comment after we’ve seen what’s going on in the market.”
Since HTC are quite big on their cameras, the 10 could sport a 23MP rear camera – an upgrade from the 20MP on the previous M9.
It is said to come in four colours as well, as you can see below.
With competition from the likes of LG with its G5 and Samsung with their S7s, together with a longer incubation period – the M10 better kick some butt.
We’re counting on you HTC – go on make it interesting again and I bet the world will collectively forgive you for the A9.
