At IFA 2019, attendees will get their first look at LG’s UltraGear 1ms Nvidia G-Sync-enabled gaming IPS monitors. They will be unveiled between September 6-11 with availability starting in the fourth quarter of this year in Europe and North America.
This being the newest UltraGear 1ms IPS monitor, it boasts a refresh rate of 240Hz, the fastest among the lineup. With it, gamers will be able to enjoy the speed essential for victory in today’s fast-paced games.
The IPS monitor produces excellent picture quality and lifelike Full HD images with rich, natural and consistent colours across a wide viewing angle. With HDR10 support and smooth visuals thanks to Nvidia’s G-Sync and Adaptive Sync, the monitor is nicely balanced in terms of performance and price.
LG 27GL850 and 38GL950G
The LG 27GN750 joins existing 27GL850 and 38GL950G models, which both employ nano IPS technology for accurate colour reproduction and a wide colour gamut. In line with this, the display covers 98 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space.
Furthermore, these displays are flicker-free and high-resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. Specifically for the 38GL950G, users can overclock the refresh rate to 175Hz. In combination, the UltraGear nano IPS lineup gives you performance and features. Model 27GL850 is Nvidia G-Sync-compatible with HDR10. Model 38GL950G supports Nvida G-Sync processors and VESA DisplayHDR 400.
Special gaming features
All three UltraGear monitors come with game-specific options. These include a dynamic action sync mode, black stabiliser and crosshair, the latter designed to improve accuracy in FPS games. Availability and pricing in the Middle East is yet to be announced.
