Lenovo has introduced the Vibe K5 and K5 Plus at MWC. Both devices are mid-range smartphones made to serve the under-$200 (Dh735) category.
The K5 and K5 Plus are pretty much the same. Both have 5-inch LCD displays, 2,750mAh batteries, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-sim slots and 16GB onboard storage, expandable through microSD. They also both have 13MP rear cameras and 5MP front cams. Both devices come running Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. They also feature Dolby Atmos rear-facing speakers. Lenovo says it’s also preloaded the devices with apps such as SHAREit, SNAPit and Guvera Music.
K5 Plus: on the larger side
The Plus has a Snapdragon 616 and a Full HD screen (1080p), while the K5 has the Snapdragon 415 with a 720p screen.
The K5 will launch for $129 and the Plus for $149.
