Realme is Oppo’s sub-brand targeting India, that comes out with stylish designs and strong specs with a very competitive price tag. The Realme 2 Pro is its third offering and by far it’s best to date.
Realme 2 Pro: Specs
The Realme 2 Pro sports a large 6.3-inch full HD+ screen with the smallest of notches that Realme called a “Dewdrop”. Unlike the current state of notches, this one looks like a tiny drop of water with just enough space for the front-facing camera, sensor and the earpiece. It’s powered by Snapdragon’s 660 chipset with memory/storage options of 4/64GB, 6/64GB and 8/128GB.
The Realme 2 Pro has a dual camera set up on the rear with a 16MP and 2MP camera-setup. The primary sensor is positioned behind a fast f/1.7 lens. The front shooter, sitting in the Dewdrop notch has 16MP resolution and an f/2.0 lens. The back of the phone also holds an oval fingerprint scanner.
The Realme 2 Pro runs the ColorOS 5.2 out of the box, based on Android 8.1’s Oreo. It brings features like “Easy Screenshot,” Clone Phone, and Smart Play that allows local videos to keep playing in the background. The battery size is at a healthy 3,500mAh capacity. Surprisingly the Realme 2 Pro ditches fast charging, a feature that’s become commonplace on Android phones.
