It’s the time of year where we wait for flagship phones to make their way to the market. With leaked images, videos and specs sprinkled across the internet it gets even better. The latest comes from OnLeaks featuring the Huawei P20. We get to see new CAD renders and a 360-degree video.
Huawei P20: What’s inside
The P20 is expected to take the stage in Paris on March 27. These renders confirm earlier leaks of a vertical three camera setup on the back. The fingerprint sensor comes in on the front side and the headphone jack is back, maybe. The renders make it look like a headphone jack but Tiger Mobiles, the initial source of the leak, notes it could very well be an IR blaster.
At first glance the front facing render makes it look like the P20 is all screen with just enough bezel at the bottom for the fingerprint sensor but a closer look will reveal a thin notch on the top holding the earpiece and a dual camera setup. It is said to be an answer to Apple’s FaceID, albeit with what looks like a less distracting notch. Huawei has spoken about working on this tech before and claims it will be secure enough for mobile payments and will read faces in 0.4 seconds.

Huawei P20: What else we know
The leak shows off twin speaker grills on the bottom edge, split volume buttons and a what looks to be a 5.7-inch display. The CAD measurements are approximately 149 x 71.3 x 7.5 mm, with a 9.7 mm total thickness including the camera bump. Based on FCC documents filed by Huawei, the display comes in diagonally at 5.8 to 6.0-inches. It’s resolution will be 2,280 x 1,080 pixels, with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
If you’re a mobile photography enthusiast, you should definitely be excited for this upcoming device.
