Huawei and 5G have been synonymous, especially on our side of the world, in the past few months. Showing us that 5G is more than just a buzz word, Huawei has announced that it shipped 6.9 million units of 5G smartphones as of December 2019, in addition to offering end-to-end 5G solutions too.
Huawei 5G Devices
In 2019, Huawei didn’t just launch one or two 5G devices but eight 5G capable smartphones. The phones were as follows.
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G
- Huawei Mate 30 5G
- Porsche Design Huawei Mate 30 RS
- Huawei Mate 20 X (5G)
- Huawei nova 6 5G
- Huawei Mate X
- Honor V30 Pro
- Honor V30.
With 5G being a rapidly evolving and advancing technology, the advantage that Huawei touts over it competitors is the ability for their devices to cover 5G NSA and SA networks modes, meaning you could travel the world in 2020 and not lose 5G coverage (as long as its available in that country).
