The HP Elite Dragonfly is a sub one-kilogram ultralight premium PC aiming to push work and life boundaries for mobile business professionals. It is artfully crafted to stand out in a distinct dragonfly blue color, which makes a bold and personal statement.
Design and durability
At under one-kilogram, the HP Elite Dragonfly is the world’s lightest business convertible, precision crafted from CNC-machined magnesium. Alongside its iridescent color, the laptop comes with an oleophobic coating to resist unwanted smudging.
HP has redesigned the keyboard making it quiet and back-lit alongside the new lightweight touch pad for an ultra-smooth working experience. For a 13-inch business convertible, the Elite Dragonfly offers the world’s highest screen to body ratio at almost 86 per cent.
Power and security
Under the hood, the Elite Dragonfly offers Intel’s 8th generation vPro quad-core processors, up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. The PC is also verified to the target specification and key experiences of Intel’s “Project Athena” innovation program.
Connectivity wise, WiFi 6 offers up to three times faster file transfer speeds whereas for security, you have HP’s Sure Sense, which defends your machine against malware attacks using the power of artificial intelligence. The PC packs HP Sure Recover to get users back up and running fast as well as HP Sure View Gen3, which is the company’s award-winning integrated privacy screen.
The HP Elite Dragonfly is expected to be available in December, which aligns well with the holiday season. It will be priced starting at Dh5,499.
