Honor unveils its new MagicWatch 2 with Kirin A1 chip


The Honor MagicWatch 2 equips industry-leading health and wellness monitoring technologies. It gives you precise health insights while keeping you fully connected.

15 fitness modes

To spur a more personal and effective fitness style, the smartwatch supports 15 goal-based fitness modes. These are split up into 8 outdoor and 7 indoor sports ranging from running, hiking, free training and machine rowing. Specifically for swimming enthusiasts, the watch also comes with 50 meters of water resistance.

In addition to this, the MagicWatch 2 supports 13 professional indoor and outdoor running courses from beginner to advanced levels. With these, users are able to stay motivated in pursuing their fitness goals.

Smart features

Honor’s MagicWatch 2 allows you to make or receive Bluetooth calls on the go, up to 150 meters away from your phone. It supports push notifications and has a range of built-in applications for your convenience.

Hardware wise, the smartwatch boasts a 1.39-inch full-colour AMOLED touchscreen display. You get 4GB of in-built storage, 2GB of which can be used to store music. The Kirin A1 chipset is what powers the device, whose optimisation allows for its 14-day battery life. Depending on user preference, the watch is available in both 42mm and 46mm sizes.

Healthcare monitoring

To track your healthcare, the Honor MagicWatch 2 incorporates three industry-leading technologies for real-time, accurate and informative health advice. It also comes with Huawei TruSleep 2.0 technology to diagnose common types of sleep disorders and provide over 200 corresponding suggestions. Using Huawei TruRelax, the smartwatch can suggest breathing exercises whereas with TruSeen, it can keep an eye on your heart rate and alert you when required.
