According to the below tweet, Google is supposedly working on a mid-range Pixel device. Apparently, this device will run the newly announced Snapdragon 710 chipset.
Off to Taiwan for @computex_taipei today, but here's a tidbit for ya: Google is working on a "mobile" device based on the Snapdragon 710 currently scheduled for launch in the 1st half of 2019. Sounds like this might be the (or one of them) upcoming mid-range Pixel phone.

According to earlier remarks on the supposed device, it is being developed for the Indian market only.
There isn’t any other detailed information on the device as it has just entered its development phase and should be announced sometime early 2019.
Again these are just rumours and no solid evidence is present to cement these claims. Since we’re expecting to see what Google will announce during it’s annual Pixel event later this year anyway, let’s wait and see what they tell us about this device then. Or wait for more leaks, like the ones below.
