Beginning tomorrow, Call of Duty fans will be able to participate in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2v2 open Alpha Test, which is free to everyone exclusively on PlayStation 4.
One of the most highly anticipated aspects of the game is the 2v2 battles, where players can pair up to face off against opponents.
Five different 2v2 maps will be available, including two new maps never publicly seen before. Pre-orders and PlayStation Plus are not required for this Alpha Test.
Developer Infinity Ward is hoping to use the alpha to fine-tune things ahead of next month’s full-scale multiplayer beta. Expect multiple Operators to be available, at least one game mode to play (with Pickup variant mode scheduled), and a number of other surprises as content is added throughout the weekend.
Five different 2v2 maps are scheduled for the 2v2 Alpha this weekend. These are King, Pine, and Stack (previously revealed), and Speedball and Docks (two previously unseen maps).
There’s no pre-order or PlayStation Plus subscription required to play. The Alpha Test ends Sunday. Log in to the PlayStation Store for access.
