Up front, you find the beautiful 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display with wide color support and True Tone. Users can interact with their favorite applications in a quick and seamless way with Haptic Touch deeply integrated into iOS 13.

A13 Bionic chip

This is the fastest chip ever in a smartphone, both in terms of CPU and GPU performance. It is built for machine learning, with a faster neural engine for real time photo and video analysis. In combination with the new machine learning accelerators it features, the CPU can deliver more than 1 trillion operations per second. Together with iOS 13, the combination makes the best machine learning platform in a smartphone with efficiency that enables great all-day battery life.

New dual-camera system

With this year’s 12MP dual-camera system, you get both wide and ultra-wide cameras for not only more natural photos but also 4K video recording with extended dynamic range. The system allows users to easily zoom between each camera and use iOS 13’s video editing tools to edit what they have captured.

A new wide sensor with 100 per cent focus pixels enables night mode, which delivers huge improvements to photos captured in low-light. This makes for brighter images with natural colors and reduced noise. Apple’s tight integration in both software and hardware is responsible for a more immersive experience that works with the dual-camera system and all-screen display. The front TrueDepth camera also sees an upgrade to a 12MP sensor with a wider field of view. Videos from it can now be recorded at 4K 60fps and 120fps slow-motion.
