Samsung has always been a victim of leaks, and the upcoming Samsung Note 9 is no exception. However, with its release date just weeks away, a leak shows off the flagship phone in a new lilac purple colour.
The leak comes from Dutch website Nieuwe Mobiel and shows that the Note 9 design does not differ much from the Galaxy Note 8. From the images, it seems that the side bezels might be slightly thinner, along with a new wallpaper.
However, on the back of the Samsung Note 9 we can see a repositioned dual-lens camera system and fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor might now be located below the camera setup, which was a common issue with most Note 8 users. There were rumours of a fingerprint sensor under the glass on the front side of the phone, but we might have to wait for the Samsung Galaxy S10 for that. Previous rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack and stick with last year’s 6.3 inch screen size.
However, reports indicate the star of show will be the S-Pen stylus. According to sources, it might be getting a speaker, microphone and Bluetooth support. There are also chances that we might see it in yellow.
Samsung is set to reveal all the details for the upcoming Samsung Note 9 in a few weeks, during the launch event on August 9. There is also a possibility that the Samsung Note 9 might be the last one in the series, as the company might focus more on the S series from next year.
