The Xiaomi Note came out in January last year, followed by the Note Pro in May. This January, Xiaomi entered the UAE market with the Note as its flagship device. Considering the brand only recently announced the Mi5 at MWC 2016, it was time for the rumour mill to begin turning about the Xiaomi Note 2.
Based on current speculation, the Mi Note specs have been revealed. The device will come powered by the Snapdragon 823, which will probably be a variant of the Snapdragon 820 with higher clock-speeds. The processor will be supported by 4 or 6GB of RAM and will have 32/64/128GB and even possibly even 256GB storage variants. The Mi Note 2 could feature a 5.7-inch qHD display with 3D Touch. A 16MP Sony IMX295 camera sensor on the back and a 5MP on the front. The battery is said to remain the same at 3,600mAh with Quick Charging 3.0.
Pricing and availability are unknown but for now this is more than enough to go on. Keep an eye on this space for more.
