Prisma launches on Android

Prisma

The only app to stay afloat while Pokemon Go is around was Prisma. Prisma is a photo-editing app that was released on iOS and quickly became quite an obsession. Now the app has finally released on Android.

Prisma

So how does Prisma work? It’s simple. Open the app, select an image, apply a filter, and voila! You’ve got a beautiful, artistic image to show your friends and feel like you’re accepted in this world just like you do with Snapchat or Instagram or any other such app.

What sets Prisma apart? What all the hullabaloo about? Well, most other apps that provide filters for your image are usually overlaying the image. Prisma on the other hand applies intelligence algorithms that use styles of famous painters and different art forms to create an image from scratch. Such creations come with the small sacrifice of taking up a little bit of your time. There’s also a non-obtrusive watermark on the bottom-right corner of  an edited image.

This is a free app, has no ads and integrates with your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. The beauty of the app is that it’s not just for your next profile picture. You can use it to make your scenic pics look print-worthy, or even design a funky logo for commercial purposes and so on.
