Pokemon Go reaches more countries in Asia

Pokemon Go Appraisal update

Pokemon Go is now available in 15 more countries across Asia. The announcement came in the form of the following update on developer Niantic’s website:

Trainers in 15 new countries and regions across Asia and Oceania can now officially download Pokémon GO from the Play Store or App Store. Discover Pokémon in the world around you!

Countries and regions include: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau

However, the worldwide hit geo-mapping app is now due in three major areas: China, India and the Middle East. China and India would be obviously due to the sheer size of populous that would join the game. Why our poor middle eastern region yet doesn’t have it officially is quite the mystery. It could be because countries such as the UAE and Kuwait have already expressed their concerns over security concerns in to the game. Due to the very same concerns, Iran has already gone ahead and banned the game.

In other Pokenews, Pokemon Go has tweeted a bug affecting throws and run away Pokemon.

Are you playing the game? What level are you on and which team? Do let us know.
