The E4 is an incremental upgrade, but the E4 Plus looks really interesting...

The Moto E is Motorola’s entry-level budget phone. German site Winfuture.de has reported two new phones in the series: the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus. The E4 will most likely be an incremental upgrade to last year’s Moto E3, sporting a similar display and 2,800mAh battery. What will change is the RAM and storage. It will likely include 2GB of RAM, as opposed E3’s 1GB. In terms of storage, both the new phones will include 16GB of storage.

Here’s what we can expect in terms of specs for both phones: the processor will be a 1.3 Ghz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core ARM Cortex-A53. The Moto E4 will sport a 5-inch 720p display and the Moto E4 Plus will have the same in a 5.5-inch version. The E4 will come with a meagre 2,800mAh battery compared to a whopping 5,000mAh in the E4 Plus. Both phones will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with the E4 having a 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 13-megapixel for the E4 Plus.

There’s no confirmed news on when the phones will launch in the UAE. Rumoured prices for the phones in Europe are €150 (about Dh601) for the Moto E4 and €190 for the Moto E4 Plus.
