Asus added to its ZenBook, VivoBook and ROG line-up at the recently concluded CES 2019. Today, these products were exclusively launched in the Middle East.
ZenBook S13 and 14
More and more consumers want thinner bezels on their notebooks, according to Asus. So with the ZenBook series, the company wants to fit bigger screens on smaller form factors. However, it also wants to maintain users’ ability to work with a discrete graphics card.
The highlight of its ZenBook line-up is the S13. Asus has managed to completely eliminate bezels with a 97 per cent screen-to-body ratio, the highest on any notebook to date. Both ZenBooks come with eighth-generation Intel i7 processors and NVIDIA’s GeForce MX150 graphics card.
Along the lines of the ZenBook, the VivoBook is also a product of Asus’ vision of a compact notebook experience. The VivoBook offers users unmatched immersion with thin-bezel displays and the ErgoLift hinge for better airflow while in operation.
Coming in 14-, 15- and 17-inch variants, the notebook caters to a wider audience and offers the convenience of SSD for faster data storage and NVIDIA GeForce graphics.
Mothership and Zephyrus S (GX701)
The Asus Mothership is an ultra-versatile gaming laptop. It comes with a 17.3-inch Full HD display alongside a factory-overclocked Intel Core i9 processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card.
Asus believes this is the ideal desktop replacement with its ability to be so unique. And with eSports growing in demand worldwide, many professional gamers will look to solutions such as this one, according to Asus.
For a more portable experience, Asus’ Zephyrus S (GX701) is the world’s slimmest gaming laptop. It comes with a 17-inch 144Hz display in a chasis that is as small as a 15-inch traditional gaming laptop. Different from the flagship Mothership, the Zephyrus S (GX701) features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q design graphics alongside Intel’s eighth-generation processors.
The new Asus Zenbook S13 will be available in the Middle East from this month. Meanwhile, the Zenbook 14 will hit shelves a little later in the second quarter. Both the Vivobooks are also said to be available from February. Asus’ ROG gaming Mothership and Zephyrus S (GX701) will be available locally starting in the second quarter. We are not sure about the pricing regarding any of the devices but will keep you posted.
