HTC 10 leak: battery and screen specs

HTC 10

The HTC 10 (rumoured name) has been around for a while with much speculation and specification leaks. As of now, we know the device will have a 12MP rear cam, USB Type-C charging, a Snapdragon 820 chipset with an Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. HTC 10

Well, the latest leaks from Evan Blass on Twitter suggest a 3,000mAh battery and a Super LCD 5 screen. The battery is tad bit bigger than the 2,840mAh on the HTC One M9. The screen on the other hand is a bit of a surprise. For the HTC One A9, the company switched over to AMOLED technology, which is much appreciated by a lot of people. But according to the latest rumours, HTC will be moving to a newer version of the screens called Super LCD 5. There is no clarification on the size of the screen but it has been suggested it will be 5.15 inches or on the difference between the Super LCD 3 (used on the M9) and the Super LCD 5 panel.

Considering HTC has already started a drum roll with a “world-first, world-class” camera announcement, we can’t be too far away from an official launch.
