The latest smartwatch reveal post the Android Wear 2.0 launch comes from fashion brand Guess. The Guess Connect, like all other fashion brands that foray into smartwatches, has been carefully designed to exude style and elegance. It packs in Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor. You’ll be able to choose between eight styles, five of which are targeted towards men and three to women.
Guess is yet to divulge the watch’s specifications but unlike smartphones, it’s easy to guess (pun intended). Android Wear 2.0’s system requirements are fairly strict, so it’s easy to assume all the latest smartwatches will share similar specifications. The defining factors for each manufacturer will be the design and price.
Guess forayed into smartwatches in 2014, partnering with Martian. It was a forgettable device, as I’m sure you realise while you’re trying to remember what it looked like. Since then, we’ve seen a variety of Connect watches. The last version even came with Amazon’s Alexa baked into it. This Guess Connect that is poised to arrive in autumn will sport Google Instant search.
