During the Mi Pad 2 launch in November last year, Xiaomi had said there would be a Windows 10 version of the device. Well, it’s here and will be available for purchase from tomorrow.
The Mi Pad 2 sports a 7.9-inch display with 2,048×1,536 pixels resolution in a full metal casing and is powered by the Intel Atom X5-Z8500 chipset with a quad-core 2.24GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage on the Windows 10 model is 64GB and 16/64GB on the Android edition but surprisingly there are no expansion slots on both. Other features include a USB Type-C connector, 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP snapper in front, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a decent 6,190mAh battery.
The Windows 10 Mi Pad 2 will retail for about $285 (Dh1,047).
