Great news for Instagrammers if you prefer. Users can now experience the app and its stories directly through Instagram.com. Over time, the picture-sharing social network has made a lot of improvements and additions to the popular image sharing social app. With more than 250 million users, it only makes sense that they want to make the Facebook-owned app accessible from your desktop or laptop instead of only your mobile device.
For starters, you’ll see a camera icon at the top left of the feed. One tap on this lets you take a photo or add one from your existing library. Users will also be able to add text and change the text colour on the photo if they so choose to.
Once you’re satisfied with your picture, all you have to do is click the Share to Your Story button and the rest is 24-hour social media history.
If that wasn’t enough, you can now save posts directly from the website, and review them when you feel like. These saved posts can be accessed by tapping the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the page.
Currently the feature is only available to a few users, but it will be made available to all in the coming weeks.
