HTC Corporation, today announced the HTC 10 evo, an evolution of HTC’s sculpted-by- light style. The device also has the world’s first USB Type-C dual adaptive earphones that provide an audio experience that can be tailor made to your ears. HTC’s new smartphone also features an all-metal unibody that is water, splash, and dust resistant.
HTC 10 evo: Adaptive Audio
The HTC 10 evo takes audio to a new level with its HTC BoomSound™ Adaptive Audio which adapts your audio to sound levels around you. This helps the device to maintain a balance between the two types of noise. It can adjust its sound if you’re in a quiet home or even on a noisy train. The phone even includes Hi-Res audio for 24-bit sound providing a wholly immersive experience. Fortunately, USB Type-C adaptive earphones are included in the box to avoid missing out on the sound from day one. The earphones feature rich bass and pitch-perfect treble and comes with looks that allow it to fit in at the gym, on the street, or wherever you go.
HTC 10 evo: All-Terrain Smartphone
The smartphone’s metal unibody is water, splash, and dust resistant with an IP57 rating. This means that it can withstand most dunks or spills. Adding to the device’s all-weather build is a big 5.5-inch display covered by Gorilla Glass 5 ensuring less glass smashing.
HTC 10 evo: Sharper shots in a snap
The HTC 10 evo comes equipped with a 16MP camera with OIS that reduces camera shake to capture sharp, on the go images in almost any environment and in low light. The phone also has an ultra-fast autofocus of up to 0.3s and Phase Detection Auto Focus. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with Auto HDR and a super-wide panorama mode.
The camera has a Pro mode which gives users full manual controls over it. Besides RAW capture, RAW enhancement and manual control over almost every setting on the camera, there is you get to take photos with long exposure times.
HTC 10 evo: Power, convenience, and customization
Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the HTC 10 evo offers features like split-screen view, quicker multitasking, new security settings, and others. The phone and some apps can be unlocked in as little as 0.2 seconds thanks to the built-in fingerprint sensor.
HTC Freestyle Layout allows a wide range of customization using unique icons, stickers and widgets anywhere. A big 3,200mAh battery powers the phone, and features Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. Other specs include 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage space, expandable with SD cards for up to 2TB of space. The device also has a 5.5-inch display showing stunning visuals for gaming, movies, and more.
The HTC 10 evo will soon be available in the Middle East and Africa and comes in Gunmetal, Glacier Silver, or Pearl Gold.
