Later this month, we’re expecting to see the launch of the LG V30 as part of the company’s IFA line-up. We’ve already been hearing plenty of rumours around the device, but LG went ahead and cleared up one of our bigger doubts regarding the screen.
Their upcoming flagship V30 will host a six-inch P-OLED (plastic) display with a 2,880 x 1,440 resolution. It will be protected by a Gorilla Glass 5 panel and have curves on both sides to promote ergonomics.
In comparison to the V20, the new device will also sport smaller bezels thanks to the FullVision display. As of now, the V30 is the first device to see these screen specs, but it seems that LG will be looking to implement similar dimensions in many of its future devices as well.
As of now, the LG V30 is slated for release at the end of August, but it will be showcased at IFA as well.
